Why Wynncliff FSC?

A sliver of summer to just be ‘Dad.’

As fathers, we wear many hats. In addition to caring and providing for our kids, we have to focus our time and energy on our professional work, our household responsibilities, and all of the duties that come with being a husband, a son, and a brother.

We might feel like we spend all of our time with our kids, but the reality is that the average boy will spend more time in front of a screen by the age of 6 than he will in one-on-one time with his dad over his whole life.

Clearly, ‘average’ isn’t good enough.

What is it?

Four days to grow in relationship and virtue.

Wynncliff FSC (Father Son Camp) is a 4-day long Summer camp for fathers and their boys aged 9-13 on a 23 acre farm on the shores of Lake Michigan. Campers will gain basic experience in woodworking, basic survival skills (coursework TBD), and knowledge in virtue under the direction of their father and volunteer men. Outside of class, campers and dads will attend daily Mass along with other daily devotions and participate in team sports, competitions, night games, and a talent show. Three “home-cooked” meals are served each day to ensure campers are well nourished for their fun-filled days.

Campers with fathers that cannot attend are still welcome to come to camp.
